Transfer money from your account to other Georgia United members.

Transfer Funds to Another Member

If you have a friend or relative who also has a Georgia United account, you can send them money using Online Banking. Using the Member-to-Member Transfer option, money is available immediately and can be set up as a one-time transfer or you can link to the member’s account for future deposits.

How to send money to another member

If you've never sent a Member-To-Member Transfer before, you'll need to first request access by contacting our Member Care Center at 888.493.4328.

Once set up, you can schedule a Member-To-Member Transfer in Online Banking. Login and select ‘Transfers and Payments’ from the navigation and click ‘Member to Member Transfers'.

One-Time Transfers
  1. From the Member-To Member Transfer page, select ‘Single Transfer’.
  2. Select the account and amount you want to send.
  3. Enter the recipient’s 13-digit account number, share/loan ID, account type and first two letters of their last name.
Link Accounts for Future Transfers

Instead of typing in someone’s information every time you send them money, you can link their account so that you can deposit money into their account anytime.

  1. From the Member-To Member Transfer page, select ‘Link Account’.
  2. Enter the recipient’s 13-digit account number, share/loan ID, account type and first two letters of their last name.

Once linked, you can send money to the member’s account by selecting 'Transfer & Payments' and selecting 'Funds Transfer'.
