Serving the Catholic Community
Georgia United Credit Union has proudly served the financial needs of the employees and parishioners of the Archdiocese of Atlanta since 2004, through the merger of Greater Atlanta Catholic Federal Credit Union, which was chartered in 1971 by a group of parishioners from Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Since 2004, we have positively impacted the lives of thousands of Catholic families by providing access to loans and higher yields on savings than traditional banks. We are member owned and not for profit- therefore our focus is on helping you to afford life!
Georgia United provides financial education and support for the Archdiocese through the programs like the Eucharistic Congress, Clergy Day of Recreation, and the Archbishop’s Gala for Catholic Education. $20,000 in Scholarships for deserving Catholic high school seniors have been awarded through our Archbishop Donoghue Scholarship Program. We continue to encourage Catholic high school seniors to participate in the newly-expanded Georgia United High School Scholarship program, which offers $27,500 in awards to deserving students each spring.
2017 Archbishop Donoghue Scholarship for Continuing Education

This scholarship of $2,500 was awarded to Ms. Kathyrn Ledlie, 1st grade teacher at Christ the King School.
