Feeling overwhelmed by expenses? Ease the burden on your budget with Georgia United's Skip-A-Pay program. For a small fee, you can press pause on your next loan payment and breathe a little easier!

Eligibility 
  • Available for eligible* consumer loan products including auto loans, recreational vehicles, personal loans and other secured loans
  • Loan must be open for more than 90 days and have three months of payment history
  • Loan must be current with no delinquency greater than 30 days in the last six months
  • Account must be in good standing
  • Maximum of two skips per calendar year

 

Submit a Request Today

Skip-A-Pay requests must be submitted prior to your due date and are subject to Georgia United's approval. If accepted, a $40 service fee will be deducted from your checking or savings account. To submit your request:

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. Select 'Services' on the navigation menu
  3. Click 'Skip-A-Pay'

Frequently Asked Questions

*All Skip-A-Pay requests are subject to Georgia United approval. Interest and finance charges will continue to accrue. Deferring your payment will extend the term of your loan(s), and at the end of the loan(s), a higher total finance charge will be paid than if payments had been made as originally scheduled. Your payment(s) will resume the following month. To be eligible, your account must be in good standing with a $5 minimum balance, no active bankruptcies, and have no charged off accounts. Offer valid for the following consumer loan products: personal loans and collateralized loans (excluding CURE and Indirect Auto Loans) that are current with no delinquency greater than 30 days in the last six months, open for more than 90 days and have three months of payment history. You may complete two skips per calendar year. This offer may be used for one of the following options: one monthly loan payment, two consecutive bi-weekly payments or four consecutive weekly loan payments. If there is GAP coverage on this loan and the vehicle becomes totaled, this skipped payment may not be covered under the GAP policy. It is your responsibility to cancel any scheduled payments from other financial institutions.
