Georgia United Credit Union Welcomes Laura King as Executive Vice President

DULUTH, GA – Georgia United Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Laura King as executive vice president (EVP). King joins Georgia United’s leadership team and will report to President and CEO, Debbie Smith.

In this role, King will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of Georgia United’s operations and technology areas.

Her leadership experience, servant’s heart and personal values make her a natural fit as one of our executive vice presidents.”

King brings over thirty years of financial industry and credit union experience to Georgia United. Prior to joining the credit union, King served as senior vice president of retail, sales and digital delivery at Georgia’s Own Credit Union, and before that, was executive vice president/chief operating officer at LGE Community Credit Union, where she served for over 19 years.
