Georgia United Credit Union Announces Leadership Promotions
DULUTH, GA — Georgia United Credit Union is proud to announce four promotions to their leadership team. The leadership positions support the credit union’s member-centered commitment and brand promise to deliver exceptional service to members, team members and the local community.
Laura King has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. King will oversee the retail, lending and operational side creating cohesion and more opportunities for a seamless experience for members and team members. King will continue to provide insight and direction to the CEO related to development, growth strategy and vision for the Credit Union. This position reports to President and Chief Executive Officer, Debbie Smith.
Aaron Chestnut has been promoted to Chief Marketing & Experience Officer. Chestnut will oversee the Marketing, Business Development and Community Development, Branch, Member Care Center, Digital Service and Sales teams. This position reports to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Laura King.
Michael London has been promoted to Chief Transformation and Strategy Officer. London has helped lead strategy initiatives while implementing positive changes that have impacted Georgia United. London is responsible for company-wide strategic planning to inspire innovative change and drive new growth. This position reports to President and Chief Executive Officer, Debbie Smith.
Carolina King has been promoted to Chief People Officer. King will be overseeing People Engagement and Services and continue to guide Learning and Development. King will be responsible for directly aligning the goals and objectives of the Credit Union with people strategies to the executive team and board of directors. This position reports to President and Chief Executive Officer, Debbie Smith.
