Georgia United Foundation Raises $50,000 for Community Programs at 3rd Annual Tee Up for Charity Fundraiser
On October 5, 2025, the Georgia United Foundation hosted its 3rd Annual “Tee Up for Charity” fundraiser at Topgolf Buford, bringing together team members, business partners, and community members for an afternoon of golf and giving. The event raised over $50,000 through ticket sales, silent auctions, and sponsorships from State National Insurance, VISA, Econocheck, and EPIC.
Proceeds will support the Foundation’s core community development programs, including scholarships, financial education with Junior Achievement of Georgia, and school facility upgrades through the School Crashers initiative.
This year’s event honored retiring CEO Debbie Smith, who founded the Foundation in 2016. Her leadership helped shape a lasting culture of service and community impact.
Looking ahead, the Foundation will launch its 35th Annual Wish Tree program to provide holiday gifts for children in foster care or experiencing homelessness. School Crashers grant nominations and scholarship applications for 2026 will open later this year.
