Pre-qualification letters are typically valid for up to 60 days and do not commit you to a mortgage.
Commonly required documentation:
- Driver's license
- Social Security card
- Pay stubs for most recent 30 days
- IRS W-2 forms for most recent two years
- Tax returns for most recent two years
- Bank statements for most recent two months
Additional documentation may be requested, if applicable:
- Current official mortgage billing statement
- Homeowner’s insurance declaration pages
- Current mortgage statement(s) for all properties currently owned
- Current homeowner’s insurance declaration pages for all properties owned
- Current property tax billing statements for all properties currently owned
